The Tamar Range:
The Tamar range is built to order. This particular house is built using the Arc style which is very popular. The outer base of the house area is protected with welded mesh. A vertical shutter closes the house area from the run so that the poultry can be kept in the run area whilst the house area can be cleaned. The large door gives good access to the nesting area. The large mesh door also allows easy access for the poultry to range free.
The dimensions for the arc shown are 5ft L x 3ft W x 2ft 3ins H. This particular build uses tantalised ‘ship lap’ in its construction.

Lynher Chicken house and Run:
The Lynher house comes complete with run. It has a nesting box on the side with easy access with its own hinged top. The roof to the main house is also hinged to allow access for cleaning. As it can be seen from the picture the house is raised above the ground to give an area where the poultry can shelter beneath the house. Scandinavian Pine is used in the construction of the house and frame of the run. The base in the house is made of OSB (oil based board). The wood is treated with an animal friendly preservative.
The measurements are 84ins L x 44ins H x 33insW
The house will hold 4 to 5 chickens or 6 to 8 bantams
